Typical assignment: A young family with land outside the big city, with a limited budget and a large mortgage, therefore their choice to build a house must really be worth it.
The clients came with a fairly clear idea about the size and shape of the house, which was supported by strict regulations in the village, setting the roof pitch and height of the ridge, eaves, its orientation, and distance from the street line. The compact design of the house is based on the passive solar gains design and refers to the shape of the classic rural barns, modernity brings a practical window in the attic.
